On June 19, 1980, the 20 initial members of the Portland Gay Men’s Chorus proudly performed their first concert at Metropolitan Community Church. The program celebrated Gay Pride Day and featured the Changing Women’s Chorus. Admission was a requested $1.50 donation. Since that premiere concert, 1424 individuals have been a part of the ongoing legacy of the Chorus.
