Participation Requirements

  • PGMC requires proof of the COVID-19 vaccination in order to be a part of the chorus this season.
  • We will also require a signed COVID-19 Participation Waiver that acknowledges the risks and protocols all singers are asked to follow. (Draft is attached for your review)
  • All submitted documentation is considered to be confidential and will not be shared.
  • In order to participate in the SpringTerm, you must fill out your Singers Agreement (SA) by 5 pm January 6, 2023. There will be no exception to this requirement. The SA will be sent out no later than December 31.

Rehearsal Protocol

  • Masks are not required by encouraged.
  • Audio recordings of each rehearsal will be posted to Chorus Connection.
  • Announcements will be presented to each sectional and posted to Chorus Connection by leadership.
  • Visitors or non-volunteers are prohibited from attending any rehearsals until further notice.
  • No Video or Pictures at Rehearsal: We ask that you refrain from taking any pictures or videos in rehearsal until COVID-related news improves. Audio recording is okay for personal use.

COVID-19 Protocol

  • Any and all questions regarding COVID-19 will be directed to the Chorus President, Tim Bartunek (choruspresident@pdxgmc.org).
  • During the term, if you test positive for COVID-19, you are asked to send an email to choruspresident@pdxgmc.org and your rehearsal section will be alerted of that fact (without identifying the individual). If you test positive for COVID we ask that you quarantine yourself from chorus activities for the next 14 days or until you receive confirmation of a negative test.
  • PGMC will provide referral information via Chorus Connection to assist you in finding COVID-19 testing sites throughout the metro area.
  • PGMC will maintain member confidentiality. PGMC requests that you not post anything COVID related to the Chorus Connection Bulletin Board, but that all information be sent to choruspresident@pdxgmc.org thereby ensuring that outgoing information is organized, confidential, and centralized.
  • The health and safety of members is our number one priority. If you do not feel well, stay home.
